The Gold Coast is “punching above its weight” when it comes to low unemployment.

 

In fact, we lead the State with employment, almost 1.5 percent higher than the State average.

 

It takes experience to deliver such record figures.

• a new tourism-market arm to deliver major events and festivals;

• the further expansion of our arts and culture industry including the final stage of HOTA;

• the largest investment in our film industry in history;

• a new boutique stadium for the coast;

• continued funding for Study Gold Coast as we seek to attract more than 30,000 students;

• record investment in public transport including seamless bus services across the north.
